Cathy McArdle (CAO)
As Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for 2020 Companies, Cathy McArdle oversees contract reviews, corporate policies, special projects and Human Resources. Additionally, Ms. McArdle is charged with assisting the company`s owners with a variety of administrative issues, enabling them to spend more time leading the sales team, generating new business and serving existing clients.Since taking on her role as CAO in May 2006, Ms. McArdle successfully established 2020`s now-fully staffed Human Resources department by recruiting and hiring an HR Director. She also issued the company`s first corporate policy and procedure handbook and oversaw construction and furnishing of 2020`s corporate office expansion. Prior to joining the company, Ms. McArdle was an independent consultant working with 2020 and other clients.
Ms. McArdle is excited to play a crucial role at 2020 as it continues to rapidly grow and expand. She finds that every day brings new challenges and new opportunities for success, and she is proud of her involvement in helping the company`s ownership focus their time and energy on what they do best. She holds a BS in psychology from Manhattan College, New York.
Gene Voorhees (CFO)
Gene Voorhees joined 2020 in 2005 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing more than 37 years of experience in the financial industry to the organization. As CFO, Voorhees is responsible for overseeing `s finance functions, including financial planning, accounting, treasury and taxation.Prior to 2020, Mr. Voorhees served as CFO for the law firm Godwin Gruber, LLP, where he successfully reduced revenue days in receivables by 10 days. Previously, he was Managing Area Director of Finance for Ernst & `s U.S. consulting group.
Mr. Voorhees is a certified public accountant and holds both a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arizona.
Cory Isaacs, Esq. (General Counsel)
Cory Isaacs joined 2020 Companies as General Counsel in August 2008. He is responsible for assisting the executive team in addressing any legal issues that arise and proactively assessing and monitoring compliance across the company.Mr. Isaacs has been a member of the Texas State Bar since 1997 and has practiced law in Washington, DC; Abilene, TX; and Dallas, TX. He has extensive experience in human resources and employment law matters, contract review and negotiation, compliance policies and procedures, and many other areas of law that will prove very helpful to 2020 as we continue to grow. He has experienced the law from many points of view. He was a full-time police officer in San Antonio, working nights while attending law school full-time during the day.
He enjoys working on the 2020 team and focusing on the legal issues so that the executive team can focus on continuing the success of the company.
Mr. Isaacs earned his BA in History from Wake Forest University (NC), his JD from St. Mary's University School of Law (TX), his MA in National Security Studies from Walsh School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University (DC), and LLMs (Masters of Law degrees) in Law and Government from American University, Washington College of Law (DC), and International and Comparitive Law and Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center (DC).
Jason Gross (SVP, Operations)
Jason Gross serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for 2020 Companies. In this role, Mr. Gross is responsible for managing, developing and supporting all operational needs of the company, including invoicing, commission generation and office setup. Since joining 2020 in March 2005, Mr. Gross has grown the company`s operations division from one employee to a team of more than 40 dedicated individuals. During this period, he was also charged with directing the automation of all internal systems, including the company`s intranet, automated invoicing and commissions system, and the development of key office processes.Prior to 2020, Mr. Gross held various positions in sales and engineering for Cable & Wireless, WorldCom and MCI. While at MCI, he consistently ranked number one in sales and engineering for more than two years. The quintessential problem solver, Mr. Gross enjoys tackling complex problems in a dynamic and rapidly changing industry. He holds a BA in business management from Elon University, North Carolina, and an MCSE certification.
Mike McArdle (SVP, Program Management)
Mike McArdle was hired as 2020 Senior Vice President, Program Management, in January 2008. He is responsible for assessing and prioritizing the many projects underway within 2020 to ensure the best possible use of the Company's time, talent, and financial resources.Mr. McArdle is no stranger to 2020, as he served as a consultant to the company for several years. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he assisted with the development of 2020 corporate structure and culture, the multiple expansions of the corporate office space at Texas Motor Speedway, and the construction of 2020 Business Development office in Dallas.
Mr. McArdle spent 27 years with Mobil Oil Corporation in various positions with Mobil Corporate, Mobil Chemical and the HURIS organizations, among others. After leaving Mobil, his consulting practice included work with small businesses, major companies, churches, and an assignment in Brazil to build a call center. Along with his PMP certification, Mr. McArdle holds a BS degree in Accounting from Manhattan College (NY) and an MS in Computer Science from Amber University (TX).
